Best Allotment Competition 2000

The competition is now closed, here are the results. We are seeking funding for the competition in 2001

Judges include Gay Search from TV's Gardeners' World, and Mark Williams of Unwins Seeds. Judging will conclude on Saturday 10th June 2000, during Sustainable City Environment Week. Prizes will include substantial cash awards, certificates and seeds vouchers, and will be presented later in the summer. Plots will be assessed on criteria including crop quality and variety, plot layout, planning, good husbandry, composting, water conservation, organic methods, and visual amenity. You can enter for more than one of the categories listed. All plots judged will be considered for 'Best Plot'. To enter, complete this entry form and post it (snailmail please!), by 24 May at the latest, to:
