'On
the Line' is a project which aims to establish friendships between communities who
share our time zone. Through communication, visits, exchanges, events, and celebrations,
it links people in eight countries along the meridian line.
Cambridge is part of this after Christian Aid put local allotment holders in
touch with Malian market gardeners. A link has been established
with the village Wédié in the Dogon Plateau. The contrasts between these communities are
huge, but both groups hope to learn more about each other.

friends and their amazing horticulture.
